Watch: Denver Zoo tigers get checkup before transfer to “The Edge”

Denver Zoo tigers Nikolai and Thimbu are ready for their new home in “The Edge” tiger exhibit after recent wellness checkups.

The 6-year-old tigers will join Nikita in “The Edge” ahead of the new $2.2 million exhibit space’ grand opening March 17-24, according to the zoo. Check out the video below to see what a trip to the vet looks like for two, roughly 400-pound Amur tigers (with very sharp teeth).
